Three free LPG cylinders for households

Reviewed 29 September 2026. Goa Ujjwala Yojana 2026 replaces the earlier AAY-limited LPG assistance scheme. September reporting describes annual support of about Rs 3,000 for three refills, removal of income and employment restrictions, and one benefit per eligible household with LPG or PNG. Residency, connection verification and application conditions still apply. Goa's Information and Publicity Department reported more than two lakh applications on 25 September. Applications and a scheduled DBT date do not establish completed payments to every household. Retained as partial pending disbursement and coverage evidence; the earlier statement that assistance is confined to AAY households no longer describes the new scheme.
