“We will further promote the Goa Umbrella scheme to boost economic growth in the state by providing additional incentives.”
On track, but not fulfilled. The promise is to further promote the Goa Umbrella Scheme to boost economic growth through additional incentives. Government of Goa material confirms the Goa State Incentives to Encourage Investments Scheme, 2017, called the Umbrella Scheme, as a framework for financial assistance to enterprises through separate target schemes. The Official Gazette in 2025 extended the validity of the Umbrella Scheme for a further period from 01-04-2025 to 31-03-2026. This confirms continuation and active policy support, but approved sources found so far do not fully prove a new post-2022 package of additional incentives beyond continuation/amendment of the existing scheme. Status on_track.

To realize our vision of a Swayampurna Goa - Atma Nirbhar Bharat, we will aim to establish a "One Taluka, One Product" initiative.
We will, through our constant efforts, propel Goa to a growth trajectory that will enable the state to become a $50 billion economy in the next 10 years.
Within six months of returning to power, we will start mining in the state through the Goa Mineral Development Corporation and auction of iron ore blocks through transparent leasing and by following the due process of law.
