Invest in power infrastructure for 24x7 high-quality supply

The promise is to make necessary investments in transmission and distribution infrastructure to ensure high-quality round-the-clock power supply for household and industrial needs. ED-Goa's Business Plan for FY 2025-26 to FY 2029-30 states that significant capital expenditure is necessary to meet demand, provide uninterrupted quality supply, strengthen sub-transmission and distribution infrastructure, improve reliability, reduce interruptions, add automation/ADMS, and implement smart metering and AMI. It also records RDSS funding for prepaid smart metering and loss-reduction infrastructure works. This confirms concrete investment planning and budgeted infrastructure movement, but approved evidence does not prove that high-quality 24x7 supply has been achieved for all households and industries.
