Transform Goa into a health and wellness hub

On track, but not fulfilled. The promise is to transform Goa into the Health and Wellness hub of the country. PIB and the Goa Governor's Address confirm that All India Institute of Ayurveda, Goa was positioned as a wellness hub of Ayurveda promoting Medical Value Travel and as a model centre for national and international collaboration. PIB later reported that AIIA Goa had emerged as a centre for wellness tourism, with substantial OPD/IPD activity, Panchakarma procedures, health camps and foreign patients. This confirms concrete progress toward health and wellness positioning, but does not prove that Goa has become the country's definitive Health and Wellness hub.
