The Department of Tourism operates the exact Goa Beyond Beaches campaign as a flagship initiative promoting villages, hinterland destinations, local culture, nature, heritage and community-based experiences beyond Goa's established coastal attractions. The campaign is integrated into official homestay, regenerative-tourism and destination-marketing activity and received an official tourism excellence award in 2025.
