Pending. The promise requires dedicated convalescence centres or an equivalent post-acute recovery service for patients, using Goa's tourism and hospitality advantages. General wellness tourism, AYUSH facilities, rehabilitation services, palliative care, ordinary hospital discharge support, day-care centres or promotion of medical tourism do not by themselves establish convalescence centres. No approved source found confirms a notified scheme, identified sites, funding, tender, construction, empanelled tourism properties or operational recovery centres providing the promised service. This is not a duplicate of the existing medical-tourism-wellness-park-ppp entry, which concerns development of a tourism and wellness park rather than patient-recovery centres. Status pending.
We will introduce comprehensively equipped first aid care centres that will improve the first responder time and will greatly benefit both tourists and residents across the beaches in Goa.
We will certify AYUSH practitioners through a duly recognized bridge course to serve as mid-level care providers with a special focus on providing community health services.
We will establish a state-of-the-art Dada Vaidya AYUSH Research Centre in Goa for promotion and research of traditional medicine practices.
