Pending. The promise requires construction of a dedicated Research Institute of Cardiovascular Diseases or an equivalent institution combining cardiovascular research with patient-care capability. Goa Budget 2025-26 provided Rs 2 crore for a longitudinal cohort research study examining lifestyle and environmental factors affecting cancer, diabetes and cardiovascular diseases in collaboration with reputed medical institutions. It also proposed strengthening cardiology departments. These are relevant cardiovascular research and healthcare measures, but they do not establish a dedicated research institute and are not shown to form part of an institute construction project.
