Within six months of returning to power, we will start mining in the state through the Goa Mineral Development Corporation and auction of iron ore blocks through transparent leasing and by following the due process of law.

Fulfilled for the auction component. The Directorate of Mines and Geology issued an official NIT dated 2022-09-30 inviting bids for grant of mining lease for four iron ore mineral blocks under Section 10(B) of the MMDR Act, 1957 and the Mineral (Auction) Rules, 2015. The 2023 Governor's Address stated that four iron ore blocks had been auctioned, and the 2026 Governor's Address stated that 12 iron ore blocks had been auctioned across the first, second and third NITs. This supports the auction/due-process component, though it does not by itself satisfy the separate six-month mining-restart commitment.
