Pending. The commitment requires Goa to work with the All India Football Federation on a formal bid or a documented bid-development process for hosting a FIFA U-20 World Cup. Goa successfully hosted matches of the FIFA U-17 Women's World Cup in October 2022, including quarter-finals and semi-finals, and the State demonstrated suitable football infrastructure and event-hosting capability. However, hosting a different FIFA youth tournament is not equivalent to preparing or submitting the promised U-20 World Cup bid. FIFA appointed Chile as host of the 2025 men's U-20 World Cup in December 2023. No approved Goa Government, AIFF or FIFA source found confirms an expression of interest, bid committee, bid dossier, host-city proposal or submitted Indian bid involving Goa for the 2025 or a later FIFA U-20 World Cup. Status pending.
