No excuses; collaborate with neighbouring states, MCD, NDMC and the Centre

Bharatiya Janata Party · Delhi Legislative Assembly Election 2025

Last updated 6 Jun 2026

Our government will not make any excuses or blame others for the problems related to Delhi’s health, traffic, electricity, water, transport, etc., and will find effective solutions by collaborating with the neighbouring states, MCD, NDMC and the central government.

Our Assessment

low

Framing commitment rather than a discrete, measurable promise — catalogued for completeness. There is demonstrable multi-agency and inter-governmental coordination on at least the Yamuna / water file: the cleanup launched in February 2025 with coordination across the Delhi Jal Board, MCD, Irrigation & Flood Control, Environment, PWD and DDA and in collaboration with the Centre, and the Union Home Minister chaired a Haryana–Delhi–Uttar Pradesh review on Yamuna rejuvenation (July 2025), with joint NMCG–Delhi funding. But the broader "no excuses" pledge across health, traffic, electricity, water and transport is an attitude commitment, not measurable. Tracked as a governance commitment at low confidence.
