Special fund for judicial infrastructure and law-graduate fellowships

Bharatiya Janata Party · Delhi Legislative Assembly Election 2025

Last updated 6 Jun 2026

We will create a special fund to improve judicial infrastructure — upgrading court buildings, increasing chambers, expanding fast-track, commercial and family courts and Lok Adalats, providing smart libraries and facilities for lawyers and staff, and launching dedicated fellowships for law graduates from SC, ST, EWS and OBC communities.

Our Assessment

low

Not confirmed. The promise bundles a dedicated judicial-infrastructure fund (court-building upgrades, more chambers, more fast-track/commercial/family courts and Lok Adalats, lawyer facilities) with new fellowships for SC/ST/EWS/OBC law graduates. As of the research date, no confirmation of a dedicated Delhi judicial-infrastructure fund or such fellowships being created by this government was found; judicial-infrastructure support otherwise runs through the existing Centrally Sponsored Scheme. Marked pending. SOURCING FLAG: weak.
