“We will conduct a detailed financial audit of over ₹28,000 crore allocated to the Delhi Jal Board under AAP-DA. We will expose the financial irregularities and improve the functioning of the board.”
Not confirmed. The promise was a detailed financial audit of the roughly ₹28,000 crore allocated to the Delhi Jal Board, to expose irregularities and improve its functioning. The BJP has long alleged financial irregularities at the DJB, and DJB finances featured among the tabled CAG reports, but there is no confirmation that the specific detailed audit was completed and its findings published as of the research date. The allegations remain under scrutiny. Marked pending.
We will set up an Economically Weaker Section (EWS) Commission to address issues related to the EWS community.
We will prioritise the filling of all the vacant positions for judges in the district and sessions courts.
We will create a special fund to improve judicial infrastructure — upgrading court buildings, increasing chambers, expanding fast-track, commercial and family courts and Lok Adalats, providing smart libraries and facilities for lawyers and staff, and launching dedicated fellowships for law graduates from SC, ST, EWS and OBC communities.
