“Our government will not only continue existing schemes, but we will also make them more effective by eliminating corruption in these schemes.”
Framing commitment rather than a discrete, measurable promise — catalogued for completeness. In practice most existing welfare schemes have broadly continued, with several enhanced (pensions raised, Ayushman Bharat added), and anti-corruption action is underway (see the SIT / zero-tolerance entry). At the same time, some flagship schemes have been restructured or wound down in their earlier form — most notably the transition of Mohalla Clinics toward Ayushman Arogya Mandirs, which the opposition characterises as closures. With no single measurable deliverable, this is tracked as a governance commitment at low confidence.
We will prioritise the filling of all the vacant positions for judges in the district and sessions courts.
We will create a special fund to improve judicial infrastructure — upgrading court buildings, increasing chambers, expanding fast-track, commercial and family courts and Lok Adalats, providing smart libraries and facilities for lawyers and staff, and launching dedicated fellowships for law graduates from SC, ST, EWS and OBC communities.
We will effectively utilise drones for surveillance, crowd management, disaster management and traffic control in border areas.
