“BJP will ensure 24x7 piped water supply to every household in Delhi within two years. We will overhaul the Delhi Jal Board, fix the crumbling pipeline infrastructure, reduce non-revenue water losses from 50% to 15%, and ensure every tap in Delhi delivers clean, safe drinking water round the clock.”
BJP is in opposition in Delhi and cannot implement this promise. Delhi continues to face seasonal water crises. The DJB's non-revenue water loss stands at 48%, making 24x7 supply technically infeasible without massive infrastructure overhaul.
