For the first time since independence, we have initiated a specially designed programme for the upliftment of Vishwakarma families. Under this programme, we are providing financial assistance, credit facilities, training and skill development, and providing market access to Vishwakarma families. We will further strengthen Bharat’s Vishwakarmas through a series of such initiatives.
We have empowered street vendors by providing credit facilities to 63+ lakh street vendors under PM Svanidhi. We will continue to further expand PM Svanidhi to cover street vendors, travelling salesmen among others from small towns and villages across Bharat.
