Our Assessment

The National Quantum Mission (approved 2023 with an outlay of about Rs 6,003 crore for 2023-2031) has been operationalised, with four Thematic Hubs established at leading institutions covering quantum computing, communication, sensing/metrology and materials/devices, and projects/startups being funded. Implementation is under way, with global leadership a long-term goal. Partial (strong action).
