“We will subsidize pilgrimage under “Mokshada Teerth Yatra Yojna” for senior citizens upto Rs 10,000 through a special pilgrimage package in collaboration with the Indian Railways involving Char Dham, Kashi Vishwanath, Ayodhya Shri Ram Mandir, Rameshwaram, Golden Temple, Madurai Meenakshi, Puri Jagannath and Kamakhya temple among others.”
Uttarakhand continues senior-citizen pilgrimages under the Deendayal Matri-Pitri Teerthatan Yojana with free travel/logistics for some groups, but I did not verify the promised Mokshada Teerth Yatra, Rs 10,000 subsidy package, Indian Railways collaboration, or all listed destinations. The senior-citizen pilgrimage objective is partially met through an existing pilgrimage scheme, but the specific subsidy/package structure and route list are not verified. Budget: Pilgrimage logistics support exists; no Rs 10,000-per-senior Mokshada package allocation isolated.
