Launch a Rs 20,000 crore Agri Infrastructure Mission

The manifesto promised a Rs 20,000 crore Agri Infrastructure Mission focused on sorting and grading units, cold-chain chambers, warehouses and processing centres across Rajasthan. The government launched the Rajasthan Agriculture Infra Mission with an initial Rs 2,000 crore provision, and official outcome documents record farm ponds, irrigation pipelines, custom hiring centres and godowns delivered through mapped agriculture schemes. This is real implementation, but the verified package is materially below the promised Rs 20,000 crore and only partly matches the specified post-harvest network. Budget: Direct and mapped allocations are verified, including the initial Rs 2,000 crore mission provision and subsequent agriculture, storage and marketing outlays; no approved Rs 20,000 crore mission outlay was found.
