Enable more than six lakh rural women to become Lakhpati Didis

The manifesto promised skill and livelihood support for more than six lakh rural women so that their annual income reaches at least Rs 1 lakh. Delivery has taken place through the national Lakhpati Didi framework implemented with Rajasthan self-help groups, whose official definition requires annual household income of at least Rs 1 lakh on a sustainable basis. Rajasthan raised its target to 15 lakh women in the July 2024 Modified Budget, and The Indian Express reported in December 2025 that 19.45 lakh women had been trained and more than 12 lakh had become Lakhpati Didis. The reported achieved outcome is more than twice the manifesto threshold, so the promised intent, beneficiary group and scale are met despite implementation through the wider DAY-NRLM framework. Budget: The July 2024 Modified Budget provided about Rs 300 crore for revolving and community investment funds and proposed Rs 300 crore in subsidised Rajasthan Mahila Nidhi loans for women self-help groups.
