Complete the Eastern Rajasthan Canal Project in a time-bound manner

The manifesto promised time-bound completion of the Eastern Rajasthan Canal Project with the Union government. Delivery is proceeding through the Revised Parvati-Kalisindh-Chambal Link Project, later described as the Modified PKC-ERCP or Ram Jal Setu Link Project; this is a substantive match because it retains the same drinking-water and irrigation objectives and beneficiary region. Rajasthan reported a Centre-state MoU, first-phase approvals and work orders of about Rs 9,600 crore, and commencement of works in the 2025-26 Budget. The project is not complete, but major funded implementation is active and consistent with a credible path during the term.
