Moneycontrol reported on 28 September that the Chief Minister's figure had exceeded 70,000. These cumulative totals and claims of merit-based recruitment are attributed to the government, not independently audited counts of people who joined service. Retained as partial: recruitment is evidenced, but the reviewed sources do not establish that all vacant posts were filled or independently verify transparency across every recruitment. Private-sector employment is not used to score this government-jobs promise.
