Our Assessment
mediumA pre-poll guarantee of a legal MSP and assured marketing on crops had not been enacted into law as of 2026, and farmer agitations over MSP continued. The state has maintained free power for agricultural tube wells and pursued crop-diversification and farmer-credit measures (several centrally sponsored), but the headline MSP-guarantee commitment remains unfulfilled.
