Transform government schools on the Delhi model

118 government senior secondary schools were designated Schools of Eminence (around 60 reported operational by early 2026), the education budget was raised from about ₹12,657 crore (2021-22) to ₹19,279 crore (2026-27), and over two lakh applications were received for Schools of Eminence/residential-school admissions. The flagship Schools of Eminence are a concrete deliverable, but transforming all of Punjab's roughly 19,200 government schools remains an ongoing, partial process.
