Our Assessment
UMED's 2025–26 plan proposes garment and wooden-toy clusters. However, operational industrial clusters covering every 500 SHGs and release of the promised ₹1,000-crore revolving fund were not verified. Existing SHG businesses and approved Umed Malls do not establish that specific coverage.
