Social security registration for unorganised workers

The manifesto promised social security for unorganised workers through 100 percent registration under e-Shram and Ayushman Bharat. PIB states that e-Shram is meant to register and support unorganised workers with a Universal Account Number, and a December 2024 PIB state-wise table recorded 1,84,48,886 e-Shram registrations in Madhya Pradesh. The Ayushman Bharat state portal exists, and PIB records more than 41 crore Ayushman cards nationally under AB-PMJAY. However, no approved-source evidence was found that 100 percent of Madhya Pradesh unorganised workers have been registered or that all e-Shram-registered unorganised workers have been linked to Ayushman Bharat. The verdict is partial because large-scale registration and scheme infrastructure exist, but universal coverage is not verified. Budget: e-Shram and Ayushman Bharat are active government platforms, but no MP-specific allocation or utilisation evidence for 100 percent registration was found in this pass.
