MP AgriTech Fund for agriculture start-ups

The manifesto promised a Rs 1,000 crore Madhya Pradesh Agriculture Accelerator Fund to support start-ups in agriculture. Approved sources show related movement: PIB records national support for agri-startups, and Times of India reported that the Madhya Pradesh cabinet approved an Agritech Innovation Hub at Indore led by IIT Indore with a budget of Rs 14.98 crore. That is a concrete agri-technology initiative, but it is much smaller than the promised Rs 1,000 crore fund and is not the same named fund. No approved-source evidence was found for a state agriculture accelerator fund at the promised scale. The verdict is partial because there is aligned agri-tech delivery but not fulfilment of the fund promise. Budget: Rs 14.98 crore is reported for the innovation hub, but no Rs 1,000 crore fund allocation or utilisation was found.
