Housing for every family through PMAY and Jan Awas

The manifesto promised that no family in Madhya Pradesh would remain homeless, using PM Awas Yojana and a new Mukhyamantri Jan Awas Yojana. PMAY delivery in Madhya Pradesh is substantial: reporting quoted the Chief Minister as saying that over 49 lakh families in the state had received homes, including more than 40 lakh rural and 8 lakh urban families. Budget: reporting records housing provisions including Rs 2,316 crore for housing, but no utilisation evidence for a distinct Jan Awas Yojana was found.
