Help us verifyWhat does this status mean?
Meaningful delivery has occurred, but the stated commitment is incomplete.
Status describes delivery. Confidence describes how strong the available evidence is.
Original manifesto wording
“To ensure all round development of cities, we will create a fresh curriculum to teach urban finance, urban infrastructure, urban environmental protection, urban water management, urban transport and more.”
Our Assessment
Capacity-building for urban governance is supported through the National Institute of Urban Affairs (NIUA) and training programmes for municipal officials on urban finance, planning, water and transport, and partnerships with academic institutions. However, a distinct, newly created formal curriculum on urban finance, infrastructure, environment, water and transport as pledged is only thinly evidenced. Partial, low confidence.
