The Swadesh Darshan programme has been revamped as Swadesh Darshan 2.0 with a destination- and sustainability-focused approach, working with states to develop tourist destinations and thematic circuits, complemented by the Challenge Based Destination Development scheme and spiritual/saint circuits (e.g. those linked to saints and philosophers).
