EV adoption is being scaled through the PM E-DRIVE scheme (about Rs 10,900 crore, supporting electric two- and three-wheelers, e-buses, e-ambulances and e-trucks), demand incentives, and support for public EV charging infrastructure, building on a base of several million EVs already on the road.
