Our Assessment

The Kochi Water Metro - India’s first such system - is operational and being expanded, and feasibility studies/proposals for water-metro systems in other water-rich cities and regions (drawing on the Kochi model) are under consideration. The pledge to expand water metro across feasible regions is at an early stage of replication beyond Kochi. Partial.
