“We will organise regular Ayush camps to provide holistic healthcare solutions rooted in Ayurveda, Yoga and other traditional practices to promote active living and vitality of elders.”
Ayush-based geriatric camps are being organised: around 10,000 geriatric camps were held across India from June to September 2024 focusing on health assessments for the elderly, and in February 2025 the Ministry of Ayush and the Department of Social Justice and Empowerment signed an MoU to implement Ayush-based interventions for geriatric healthcare. Ongoing delivery is also supported via Ayush Health & Wellness Centres / Ayushman Arogya Mandirs under the National Ayush Mission.
