The Congress party will enact the Right to Healthcare Act, making it a legal right for every Indian citizen to receive quality healthcare. The Act will mandate free diagnostics, medicines, and treatment at public health facilities, and regulate costs at private hospitals through standardised rate cards.
The Congress party will fill 22 lakh vacant government positions within one year of coming to power. A dedicated task force will be constituted to fast-track recruitment through SSC, UPSC, and state public service commissions. We will end the unemployment crisis plaguing India's youth.

This is a direct cash transfer to ensure no Indian family lives below the poverty line.
The Congress party will present a separate Kisan Budget dedicated exclusively to agriculture and allied sectors. This budget will address MSP guarantees, input cost subsidies, crop insurance reform, and cold chain infrastructure. Agriculture will receive the focused policy attention it deserves.
