Fulfilled. Launched 12 January 2024 in Shivamogga (registration had opened 26 December 2023); provides a monthly unemployment allowance of Rs 3,000 to unemployed graduates and Rs 1,500 to diploma holders (2022-23 cohort onward) for up to 24 months or until employment, conditional on periodic self-declaration of unemployment and disbursed via Seva Sindhu DBT. Per a written reply by the Chief Minister in the Assembly (reported by Deccan Herald), about 2.41 lakh youths were benefiting and roughly Rs 520 crore had been disbursed; over 3 lakh had registered, though uptake of the linked skill-training component has been low. Figures are government-stated.
