On track but well short of the universal target. The promise was to provide housing to all police personnel within five years. The state has continued and expanded police housing through the Karnataka State Police Housing Corporation - new complexes were inaugurated and the Chief Minister reaffirmed the commitment in 2025, with further Police Gruha construction phases under way. However, coverage has historically been around 50-60 percent and the absolute "all personnel within five years" target is unlikely to be fully met. Active, ongoing delivery, short of universal coverage.
To establish a seed fund of Rs 200 crores to create infrastructure in Cyber Crimes and financial investigations.
To provide special allowance of Rs 5000 per month to police officials on night duty and one month's extra pay per year.
To increase recruitment of women in Police Force to 33% of the total strength with at least 1% reservation for Gender Minorities.
