Our Assessment

Implemented from July 2023 (registration opened 18 June 2023); provides up to 200 units of free electricity per month to eligible domestic consumers through the five ESCOMs. Operational statewide - the government reported about 1.61 crore households benefiting and cumulative disbursal of about Rs 21,213 crore in a written reply in the Assembly.
