Our Assessment

Samagra Shiksha's 2024–25 report records implementation of 21,508 computer labs under the Schools of Excellence programme. Gyankunj also documents substantial smart-classroom infrastructure. These demonstrate delivered facilities, not distinct school conversions. A mapped inventory showing all targeted schools with functioning smart classrooms, environment labs and computer labs together was not verified. Counts of classrooms and labs cannot be summed as schools.
