What does this status mean?
Meaningful delivery has occurred, but the stated commitment is incomplete.
Status describes delivery. Confidence describes how strong the available evidence is.
Original manifesto wording
“We will convert 20,000 government schools into Schools of Excellence with a budget of ₹10,000 crore in the next 5 years, under which training in futuristic skills such as robotics, coding, Artificial Intelligence etc. will be provided.”
Our Assessment
GUJCOST reports completed AI and robotics camps for 219 students in classes 6–10 across four regional science centres in April–May 2025. This is actual school-age training under a different delivery route and is credited as related progress. Selected outreach camps do not demonstrate routine robotics, coding and AI instruction across the promised Schools of Excellence network. Computer-lab installation alone is not proof of those courses being taught.
The reasoning behind the verdict
Why this assessment?
Reviewed
01 · Delivery status
Why partially done?
Actual AI and robotics training is documented for selected pupils; regular instruction across target schools is unverified.
02 · Strength of evidence
Why medium confidence?
First-party reporting supports related delivery, but statewide coverage or complete promised institutional scope is not verified.
What would help us reassess?
The documents that could clarify delivery of this commitment.
- Target-school course schedules, trained instructors and student completions
- Coding, robotics and AI coverage by school and grade
