Our Assessment
The current state scheme page lists ₹1,000 monthly assistance for eligible people aged 60–79 and ₹1,250 for those aged 80 and above. This verifies an operating pension benefit. A dated revision doubling the comparable pre-pledge rates, and corresponding beneficiary payments, were not verified. The current amounts alone are not evidence that this manifesto's doubling was implemented.
