Our Assessment
The state review records fortified rice supplied under PM POSHAN in 2025–26. The Union ministry's 2024–25 Gujarat review records additional millet servings on four days in September 2023. These are delivered nutrition changes, but a short millet initiative is not evidence of regular statewide menu inclusion. Current school-level consumption and menu compliance for both fortified ration and millets remain to be verified.
