Our Assessment
Recruitment is active: a February 2026 Assembly reply reported over 30,000 appointment letters issued in the preceding year. Letters are not verified joinings. GARC's December 2025 review nevertheless documents persistent departmental vacancies and hiring cycles of one to three years; six of seven GPSC member posts remained vacant in February 2026. The 2024–33 recruitment calendar is a plan, not clearance of current vacancies. Timely filling across all departments remains unverified.
