What does this status mean?
Meaningful delivery has occurred, but the stated commitment is incomplete.
Status describes delivery. Confidence describes how strong the available evidence is.
Original manifesto wording
“We will revise the school curriculum to incorporate different aspects of Bhartiya Sanskriti (such as Indian values, history, traditions, customs, languages and art) to enable children to develop a strong and positive cultural identity.”
Our Assessment
Reporting quoting state textbook officials documents implemented Gita-based learning in Gujarati-medium classes and first-language chapters at higher grades. It also identifies delays in translated materials for other media. This is relevant curriculum revision, but a limited religious-text component does not establish the full promised treatment of Indian history, traditions, customs, languages and arts across all schools and media.
