Original manifesto wording

Our Assessment

The published Gaurav Puraskar scheme recognises artists in the relevant disciplines, but the official scheme material and 2024 Gazette describe 12 awards of ₹1,000 rather than 100 awards of ₹51,000 annually. This verifies an existing award mechanism, not the promised expansion. A superseding award order and payments meeting both the higher amount and annual recipient target were not verified.
