Our Assessment

Pending. The commitment requires sanitary-pad vending machines in ladies public washrooms across Goa beaches and public-transit stations. The Gender Budget 2026-27 contains proposed vending-machine expenditure for selected government workplaces and departments, including the Public Private Partnership Department, Electricity Department, Directorate of Forensic Sciences and Directorate of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship. Several lines record no expenditure during 2024-25 or through February 2026. Machines intended for government employees or departmental premises do not establish the promised public beach and transit-station network.
