highThe Delhi government announced a ₹500 monthly increase across both brackets (₹2,000→₹2,500 for ages 60-70 and ₹2,500→₹3,000 for 70+, widows, divyang and destitutes), with about ₹3,227 crore allocated, benefiting roughly 4.6 lakh senior citizens and 1.35 lakh persons with disabilities; 50,000 new pensions (₹149 crore) were added in 2025. Implementation is under way. (Same hike as the women-widow-pension promise.)
