“We will increase the senior citizens pension for citizens aged 60-70 from ₹2,000 to ₹2,500 and for senior citizens, widows, divyang and destitutes aged 70+ from ₹2,500 to ₹3,000.”
The Delhi government announced a ₹500 monthly increase across both brackets (₹2,000→₹2,500 for ages 60-70 and ₹2,500→₹3,000 for 70+, widows, divyang and destitutes), with about ₹3,227 crore allocated, benefiting roughly 4.6 lakh senior citizens and 1.35 lakh persons with disabilities; 50,000 new pensions (₹149 crore) were added in 2025. Implementation is under way. (Same hike as the women-widow-pension promise.)
