“We will launch a Mukhya Mantri Shiksha Protsahan Nidhi for economically disadvantaged families, displaced families from Kashmir and families affected by the 1984 riots. Under this scheme, students up to class 8 will receive annual financial assistance of ₹2,500, while students from class 9 to 12 will receive ₹3,500.”
Scholarships are being disbursed to economically weaker students (for example, ₹25.25 crore to 1,709 students under the Delhi Higher and Technical Education Assistance Scheme in January 2026), but the specific Mukhya Mantri Shiksha Protsahan Nidhi (₹2,500 up to class 8; ₹3,500 for class 9-12) has not been separately verified as launched.
