Our Assessment

On track. The 2025-26 state budget (about Rs 3.22 lakh crore total) allocated Rs 20,281 crore to the Scheduled Caste component and Rs 8,159 crore to the Scheduled Tribe component under the sub-plans - dedicated sub-plan funds were budgeted. Actual utilisation/end-use is a separate question and not assessed here.
