Our Assessment

On track. Digital health records are being created statewide: ABHA (Ayushman Bharat Health Account) IDs and Electronic Health Records are being generated at scale (over 88% coverage in a sampled district), and the state's "Sanjeevani" universal-health initiative (with Tata and the Gates Foundation, first Digital Nerve Centre in Kuppam) is digitising the records of about 5 crore citizens and linking facilities on one platform.
