Our Assessment

Delivered. The Cabinet decided in May 2025 to discontinue the previous government's door-step Mobile Dispensing Unit (MDU) ration distribution and restore distribution through Fair Price Shops from 1 June 2025, retaining door delivery for senior citizens (65+) and differently-abled persons. The government cited beneficiary-access gaps and rice-diversion under the MDU system.
