Our Assessment

UTDB says it manages tea factories, including several small factories established in tea-growing areas. That shows processing infrastructure exists, but I did not find approved-source evidence of a new post-2022 financial-assistance scheme for tea farmers to establish mini tea factories. Budget status: no farmer-assistance allocation found.
